This writing shed in Buckinghamshire, England, belonged to a writer who wrote some of his most famous works here. He wrote imaginative stories but due to a bustling home filled with children, he needed to shut himself off in a space where he could write. He built a writing shed in his backyard and pulled the curtains to block out the light. His only light came from an angle-poise lamp which shown directly on the board across his lap where he wrote with pencil and paper. He sat in a wing-back chair that used to be his mother’s. On his walls, he posted photos and inspiratational quotes. His works rank him among the world’s best-selling fiction authors with more than 300 million copies sold worldwide with translations into sixty-three languages.
