On December 6th, Rogue Women Writers introduced our new ROGUE REELS feature highlighting J.T. Ellison reading from her latest novel, A VERY BAD THING. This month we are showcasing one of our very own Rogues.
Tracy Clark appeared on Rogue Reads most recently in November 2024, but her work she has been making waves in the mystery community since her debut novel, Broken Places, made Library Journal’s list of the Best Crime Fiction of 2018. Broken Places was also nominated for a Lefty Award for Best Debut Novel, an Anthony Award for Best Debut Novel and a Shamus Award for Best First PI Novel.
She has since gone on to become a multi-nominated Anthony, Lefty, Macavity, Edgar and Shamus Award finalist, the winner of the 2020 and 2022 G.P. Putnam’s Sons Sue Grafton Memorial Award, and the winner of the 2022 Sara Paretsky Award. She is a proud member of Crime Writers of Color, Mystery Writers of America, and Sisters in Crime, and currently serves on the Bouchercon national board and the board of the Midwest Mystery Conference. And did we say, she is a ROGUE.
From the award-winning author of Hide and Fall comes Echo, the third book in the Detective Harriet Foster thriller series, a taut tale of renegade justice with a heart-stopping finale.
