ROGUE FLASH – Farewell and Welcome

Farewell, Carla!

We have been fortunate to have such talented, prolific, bestselling authors as members of Rogue Women Writers over the years.  Of course, with success come responsibility, deadlines, book tours, and other events. So, from time to time, a member may have to step back from the Rogue website for a while.  One such member is our friend Carla Neggers. This terrific author has penned over 75 novels (!) that have been translated into dozens of languages and sold in some 35 countries.

Check out her new rerelease coming September 13, Rival’s Break featuring her FBI team, Sharpe and Donovan dealing with international intrigue and suspense. Carla is noted for creating highly entertaining and fast paced plots with compelling characters and vivid settings. For details on her books and activities, please visit: www.carlaneggers.com. We’ll miss you, Carla, but we all look forward to keeping in touch. Best of luck as you move ahead.

Welcome, Tracy!

We are outrageously excited to welcome our newest Rogue Women Writer: Chicago native Tracy Clark, who zoomed onto the PI novel scene in 2018 with Broken Places. Her books have won or been nominated for several awards and recommendations,  including the Sue Grafton Memorial Award, as well as starred and glowing reviews from Publishers Weekly, Booklist and Kirkus.

Tracy intended to become a writer from a young age and, like some of us, has not quit the day job! She is a full-time editor in the fast-changing newspaper business.

Her character, former homicide detective turned private investigator  Cass Raines is a captivating and unique voice in the PI world. Runner, just out in June, was described by the New York Times as “a lapel-grabbing and provocative new novel.”

To learn more about Tracy, be sure to return here on the week of August 22 to read her first Rogue blog contribution and visit her website, Twitter, and Facebook page!

Don’t Miss a Thing!
