It’s a Rogue Roundup: See what we Rogues discovered, researched, and talked about in December…
A great writer knows when to deliver a juicy plot twist. But for one author, the biggest twist of all is her own murder. That’s the plot of J.T. Ellison‘s new novel, which we revisited in our new series, Rogue Reels–highlights from our four years of Rogues Reads events!

The Rogue Women Writers annual holiday giveaway came and went this month!!! We gathered up a whole stack o’stuff to send to one lucky Rogue Reader to curl up with on these cold winter days. If you missed out, don’t worry! We do this giant giveaway every year. Subscribe now to get ahead of next year’s giant giveaway and be automatically entered for each of our smaller book giveaways each month of 2025.
Next, our monthly feature from ZJ Czupor! This month’s On Tour with Dead Writers clue involved two famous towers and a long line of novels, events, movies, and dreams inspired by one another. Any guesses? See December’s On Tour with Dead Writers to test your investigative skills.

Tracy Clark then posed us a question: Why do we love book series so much? The answer, simple. We love to see the worm turns. Follow characters and see how they get on. She explores our curiosity, desire, and fear of the changing characters in our favorite series in Just Checking In.
We wrapped up the month with a poem. Did you know our Rogue Karna Bodman enjoys turning from thrillers to poetry? Inspiration struck one evening and she jotted down “An RV Wife.”
That’s all for the December Rogue Roundup! Rogue Reads will be returning on January on 13th with a fantastic line-up for our first event of 2025!
We’ll see you then and, until next time, stay Rogue.
Good morning, Thank you so much for everything you do. May you all have a Great weekend.
