By Chris Goff
On May 18, 2016, the first Rogue Women Writers blog was posted by Gayle Lynds,
introducing our group to the world. Since then, we’ve lost members, gained members,
hosted panels at the mystery conventions, and expanded our offerings to include Rogue
Reads, a monthly showcase for mystery and thriller writers.
In a moment of nostalgia, I looked back over the archives and was mesmerized by the
variety of our offerings. The blogs include stories of how we started writing, the crazy
research we engaged in. They offer insights into how we came upon our characters and
plots and share stories of events that shaped us and inspired our work. We are a varied
bunch of kick-ass writers with an eclectic array of backstory, and I treasure the
friendships we have built with each other and with readers over the last eight years.
Here are a few of my favorite blogs. I invite your comments, and I hope it inspires you to
take your own look back at the Rogue Women Writers.
