AUGUST ROGUE ROUNDUP

by | Sep 4, 2021 | Rogue Roundup

Here’s what we Rogues talked about, researched, and revealed in August…

Jenny Milchman made a huge splash this month, interviewing authors and screenwriters whose work has made it big time onto the big screen!

Then, Z.J. Czupor’s Mystery Minute taught us a thing or two about the celebrated (but nearly forgotten) author, Newton Thornburg.

Celebrating her first “post-COVID” outing, Chris Goff detailed a thrilling get-together with her local chapter of Mystery Writers of America. She got to try her hand at Crime Scene Investigation for a day with the Arapahoe County Sherrifs playing ‘Body in the Park!’

In bittersweet news, the Rogues said farewell to the talented Carla Neggers and welcomed aboard yet another incredible author, Tracy Clark.

Then, Gayle Lynds rounded up a stellar compilation of the best writing advice that each of the Rogues have ever received (you’ll want to take notes!).

Later, Tracy made her debut on the Rogue Women Writers blog, describing her process for refining haunting settings in her gripping thriller novels.

Lastly, we hosted former-CIA-analyst-turned-author Karen Cleveland on the blog who shared her perspective on social media in light of her background as a spy. If you’re a fan of hers, you might consider registering for our upcoming Rogue Reads event where she’ll be a featured guest!

Don’t Miss a Thing!
